Announcement: Help FEMA Include People with Disabilities When Planning for and Responding to Emergencies

Department of Homeland Security.  With hurricane season bearing down upon us, this seems a particularly appropriate time for us to encourage your participation in FEMA's information accumulation efforts.

In my role as Senior Advisor, Disability Issues at FEMA I am developing a comprehensive database of people involved in both emergency management and disability
issues. This will be used to share information, develop and maintain relationships in advance and then locate and communicate with partners at the local,
state, regional, national and international levels when needed before, during and after emergencies and disasters.
