Found this rather interesting. Did you know that there was a National Emergency similiar to the one put into place this weekend by the President earlier this year? Do you know what it was for?
For the first time ever, one was declared for the 2009 Presidential Inauguration. I don't remember reading anything about this, do you? And, why was it declared for just Obama's Inauguration and not others in the past? Interesting.
For those of you wanting to know more about what these State of Emergencies mean, here's the link:

For information on the Inauguration one, here's the link: http://www.fema.gov/news/newsrelease.fema?id=47284
I wonder if this means that if you are ill with the H1N1 flu and the hospital/doctor that you go to per your Medical Insurance rules moves you to another facility or even off-site, will this mean that your medical insurance can now deny payment of your claim since you are not in the place that they approved? We'll see how this one turns out if the full emergency protocols are put into place.
Have a great week!
