As once disabled people were discriminated against, is how I personally feel as a convicted drug offender. I am 50 with a diploma from School of Hard Knox. Being that I have lived both lives, I have ideas, and thrive for the opportunity to re-enter society and continue to prove That Good Change IS POSSIBLE. There are many intelligent, people whom have made bad choices but are the hardest, most dedicated people because not only do they have to be competitive, but also rise above the label of "convicted drug offender" as is the man whom has no hands. Living a double life is to my advantage and the asset of those employers I/we would protect.

Accepting my responsibility for bad choices which any alcoholic or dementia person can make.

You are here for the disabled person whom has a civil right to enjoy the fruits of his/her sweat.

Where do people with a past and a hope for the future go when no one will open a door?

I did very well with the classes and I also have Office/Clerical experience. I am very much ready to start working part-time at least 20 hours per week and then eventually work back into full-time days from 8-5. I am getting some help with GoodWill Industries and Vocational Rehab also. I just need to find that part-time Office position to utilize my clerical skills. If anyone can respond please do. Have a great day.
