Provided below is a poem of mine titled "Standing Tall." "Standing Tall" was written a few years ago, and it has withstood the test of time, in that, it is as relevant today as when I wrote it. Also, "Standing Tall" has been printed in a number of periodicals over the years. A VIDEO rendition of "Standing Tall" is available by accessing the following URL: http://www.webbytalents.com/play.php?vid=616

STANDING TALL
Not many bother anymore
Seldom hear that knocking at the door
Sure do miss a friendly "hello;"
Open friends sometimes close their minds.
But there's no bending of the knee
Even though these legs do so easily tire,
Because these arms are made of iron
And this chair has wheels of fire. ~

I have written a manuscript of unpublished poems titled "Reflections on the Human Condition." Someday, and somehow, perhaps I will be able to find a publisher who might have an interest in the previously described. I have always hoped that my poetry would be a vehicle via which I could improve my general life circumstances, and I still hold on to that dream.
