Will a employer understand if Iam homebound? What is the chance of me getting a job if I can not travel to a interview?
This a very excellent question, and one that I have also poised many, many times. I'm still searching. Mostly these "disability" job websites (and the "normal") job websites, don't care or even understand the definition of disability. Apparently no one is able to read a dictionary to distinguish the difference between handicapped and disabled. I'm very interested in this, as I'm literally starving while these people nap and allow the disability community starves in abject poverty. Oh well, the government is still paying for this.
Let me know if anyone has woken up!!!
Hi there, I just wanted to see if you have ever heard of www.RatRaceRebellion.com? It is a website that tests all of the work at home companys and lists all of the good ones. This has been a big help for me. I have worked from home for a few different companies for about 5 years. Also there is www.NTIcentral.org they hire disabled people as well. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck.
I am also homebound with heart disease, epilepsy and neuromuscular disorder
