After spending most of my career in the restaurant industry, I'm having difficulty trying to find a desk job or some position that would not be too physically demanding. Because of a serious injury years ago and advanced arthritis, I simply cannot do this type of work anymore. Is there a specific process you go through to become classified as disabled and does this disabled status open doors to appropriate emplyment?
