Your first step as a new Jobseeker at GettingHired.com should be the completion of your profile. If you already have a resume in electronic format, you can import it into your account and use it to help build your profile. Or you can use our Guided Profile Builder to help you enter your information step by step. After the completion of your profile, if you wish to share it with potential employers, you should set it to "Public". You can do so from your My GettingHired dashboard.

Once your profile is complete, you can start searching for job opportunities using our Find Jobs search. You can search for jobs in the location you desire by entering the city and state names or the zip code in the appropriate fields. You can also do a keyword search, looking for specific positions or company names.

Consider taking the Career Assessment to get career recommendations. Just click on Build Your Career and then on Take Career Assessment.

You can also find assistance from Service Providers in your area. Just click on the Make Connections tab, then on Service Provider Search.

We hope this helps you in getting started, if you have any problems or questions please let us know. You can reach us by clicking on Contact Us.

Best of luck,
